Gary has spent over 20 years in insolvency, first with the Official Receiver’s office and later with two independent insolvency practitioners in London. He co-founded the firm in 1996. Gary’s man management and organisational skills have been called on in delivering practical recovery solutions to a diverse range of both corporate and personal insolvency assignments.

Alan qualified as a chartered accountant with the London office of PKF 1990 and joined the Corporate Recovery department in 1991 specialising in banking reviews and trading appointments. He qualified as an insolvency practitioner in 1995 and co-founded the firm in 1996. Alan is also a member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and the Turnaround Management Association in the UK.

Alistair qualified as a solicitor in 1990. He established his own legal practice in 1996 specialising solely in insolvency. Alistair joined Carter Clark in 2003 and utilises his detailed knowledge of both insolvency legislation and commercial law to assist the firm in investigation and asset recovery cases.

Philip started working in the insolvency profession in 1977 and, after a successful career with three leading firms, joined Carter Clark in 2005. He has dealt with all aspects of both corporate and individual insolvency including major trading receiverships and administrations. In addition, Philip has assisted with asset recovery and investigations in fraud cases.
